Management System Certification

Polarcus launched its management system in Q1 2009 and in preparation for the launch of our first two ships, Polarcus Nadia and Polarcus Naila, in Q4 2009 we have secured an “Interim” ISM Document of Compliance through Det Norske Veritas (DNV). With this first hurdle achieved we now embark on a mission towards ISPS, ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certification.

No other geophysical company in the industry has undertaken such a project to have the various segments of their management system all certified to the recognized standards of ISM, ISPS, ISO and OSHAS. A few have taken the high road with a selection of the standards for all or part of their business activities but none have gone for the full suite for their entire group.
